Feng Shui Training And The Home

If you have feng shui training, then you know how important it is to put these principles into practice in your home and work spaces. If you haven't had any classes or training in feng shui but would still like to fill your home with the applied principles of it, then feng shui consultations are probably right up your alley. The great thing about feng shui consulting (as opposed to going out and taking classes on your own) is that it provides you with personalized information, direct from a professional.

Rather than learning the principles and then attempting to apply them, amateur-style, to your own home, an experienced professional can take a look at your living and working spaces and tell you how to optimize them for energy flow. They can also give you pointers on improving other aspects of your life that can be manipulated with feng shui. Does your family fight a lot in the living room? Do you have trouble focusing when working at your desk? Both of these are things that can be improved through the use of feng shui.

You can create warmth in the kitchen, romance in the bedroom, and creative, focused productivity in the office, when you room is optimized for those very things. Of course, it is up to you, as the resident of the space, to maintain these spaces in a way that continues to be supportive of this energy and function. One way to stay on top of things is to do what is sometimes known as maintenance cleaning. All this means is that you clean up as you go along, rather than waiting to do it all in one big swoop. That doesn't mean you have to clean your house every day (who has time for that?), but it does mean cleaning up after you use or dirty any given space. In the bathroom, for example, wiping down the fixtures and counter after using the sink will keep everything spot-free and shiny. It will also make your bathroom a more welcoming place each time you walk in. That way, when it comes time for the weekend cleaning, you'll have much less to do and won't feel overwhelmed with how much there is to clean up.

Sometimes, bringing feng shui into a space can help the inhabitants respect the space and its meaning on a deeper level. If you do have feng shui consulting, be sure to share what you've learned with the entire family. Even if they don't all believe fully in the art, they will hopefully respect your intentions regarding their home, and they will certainly appreciate how wonderful the whole house looks and feels!
